Painter helpers provide help to the main painters. They usually undertake painting jobs, varnishing, enameling, staining or lacquering both internal and external articles under the supervision of lead painter. Their main duty is to assist the lead painter.
The candidates having high school diploma with a formal training in painting would have advantage over other while getting hired for this position. These candidates are required to have high level of skill in mixing and blending paints, along with the knowledge of different painting methods suitable for each painting job.
