The MRI technician or technologist is trained to install, maintain and operate specific types of MRI in a hospital or health care center. The routine examination may called for need not be supervised by a doctor and the MRI technicians is trained to properly position the patient on the table, introduce the fluid to the body and make initial interpretation on the imaging results.
