The certified registered nurse anesthetist is trained to handle administering anesthesia without supervision from an anesthesiologist. After ensuring the medical and health stability of the patient, they can administer anesthesia prior to surgery and monitor the levels intraoperatively to ensure the patient gets the consistent levels throughout surgery.
