A Boat Builder is responsible for constructing and shaping of wooden framed, structures and other parts following the specification on blueprints, using hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments. They also attach metal parts such as fittings, plates and bulkheads to ship using brace and bits, augers and wrenches after which they smooth and finish ship surfaces using power sander, broadax, ads and paint.
